Bowie VFD Auxiliary Support Team

On Saturday, May 30, the Bowie Volunteer Fire Department proudly hosted its first Babysitter Safety Program. Sixteen young people from our community participated in the 5 hour course, which was taught by Barry Contee of the Silver Spring Volunteer Fire Department. The course covered basic home safety, first aid, child care and other topics. We hope that this free class will help to prevent injuries in the future, and we look forward to hosting this class again.
