Bowie VFD Auxiliary Support Team

On Saturday, May 16, members Ray Wingo and Travis Murdoch took an engine to the open house at Kenilworth elementary for show-and-tell from 1000 to 1500. Lots of children had the chance to scramble all over the engine and use tons of imagination driving and fighting fires. FF Wingo also spent some time explaining engine company operations to a couple of interested citizens. The career crew from Station 39 (Belair) were also in attendance, staffing the in-service engine and the ambulance until 1330, and enjoyed playing with the children and talking with their families. Lots of fun was had by all.
