On March 15, 2008 at 1245 hours Canteen 39 responded with two volunteers to a working garage fire at 13907 Woodmore Road in company 43's area.

At about 1900 on Saturday August 2 a working fire dispatch was issued for a single family home on Peyton Court in Company 43's first due.

At about 1605 the call was put out for a house fire at 2521 Kenhill Dr. in Company 39's first due. Chief 39A (Daly) arrived moments later and reported smoke and flames showing. Engine Companies 19, 39, 43 and Arundel 7, Tower 33 (Kentland), Rescue Engine 33, Truck 28 (West Lanham Hills), A399 and A199 arrived after C39A and put a quick knock on the fire. Canteen 39 arrived on-scene at approximately 1615. Chief 19 (Havens), Arundel Chief 7 (Ayers), and Battalion Chief 802 were also on the scene.

At approximately 2300 on 31 August,2008 a box was struck for a fire at Kenilworth Elementary School at 12520 Kembridge Drive in Company 39's first due. Canteen 39 responded from quarters with three (George Amyx, John Cole, and Glenn Locker) and were on-scene by approximately 2310 hours.

At approximately 1000 Canteen 39 responded to westbound Route 50 at 197 for an overturned truck w/the driver trapped.

At approximately 0300 on Sunday September 28, 2008 Canteen 39 responded on a call for the crash of Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 2 in the area of Walker Mill Park.
